Ride Collie EVENTS 2024
The 2024 Collie River MTB Marathon is a mass participation Mountain Bike event based in Collie Western Australia. With entry numbers ranging between 400-500 it attracts a good contingent of Western Australian riders. For 2024 we'll base the event village/start/finish at the beautiful Harris River Estate Winery about 5km north of the Collie town site. The winery is adjacent to the Arklow MTB Trail Network. We'll offer 15km and 25km short distance rides - which will also double as "Adaptive/Handcycle" events. We've added a 40km Gravel option for people who wish to ride either MTB using the fire trail network on the western end of the Arklow Forest Block - and a 50km option that's predominantly sanctioned single track trail with a spattering of forestry trails. For the 'Big One' - the 90km event - we'll start them around the 40km route to spread them out - and then have them head back out onto the 50km single track route to finish off with some big smiles.
